Mysuru Countryside Hike and Bike
(Srirangapatna and Kunti Betta)
This multi-sport getaway is a picturesque trail riding through countryside of Mysuru starting from the river island of Srirangapatna. Ride through quiet canal-way roads adjoining farms and beautiful views of green paddy and sugarcane fields. Along the way we stop for views of the river Cauvery and the Balamuri waterfalls. On our second day, we drive out in the wee hours of the morning to hike Kunti betta, known for its boulder-strewn landscape and lush greenery. The trail is a moderate one and the views of the landscape from the top are absolutely encapsulating.
Ride to Wilderness
(Kabini)
This wilderness trail is a good mix of biking adventure in the countryside and leads you to the Nagarhole National park to the Kabini backwaters famed for its elephants, leopards and tigers among many other wild animals. Ride a moderately intense trail through the countryside and village roads to Nugu reservoir and then head to Kabini. Stay by the Kabini backwaters to soak in the serenity and enjoy an evening safari and a morning boat cruse spotting wildlife. NOTE: You will not be cycling inside the forest area for as it is prohibited.
Coffee County Trail
(Coorg)
Venture into the land of Coffee and the Kodava community, ride through lush green and thick wooded coffee country. Go on plantation walks to learn about coffee cultivation and relish the local Coorgi cuisine. Get ready to pedal along coffee estates on unexplored trails with a picnic lunch against a picturesque setting. On the final day, ride past the prayer flags to a Tibetan settlement in Bylakuppe, visit monasteries and interact with the red robed monks here; savor some momos and Tibetan food.
Malenadu Hike and Bike Trail
(Sakleshpur)
A part of the Malenadu region, or the land of mountains, Sakleshpur is beautifully nestled amidst lush green hills and coffee plantations. Ride through short trails through coffee plantations or to a nearby waterfall. Enjoy an intense multisport day hiking and biking through the winding roads of Sakleshpur to Ettina Bhuja. Hike up Ettina Bhuja through shola forests for a beautiful view of the green expanses of the Malenadu region. The tour also explores the hinterlands of Sakleshpur with a ride to Shettihalli church ruins, that remains partly submerged during the monsoons.
Rainforest Hike and Bike Trail
(Chikmagalur)
The rolling hills of Chikmagalur is where coffee was first planted in India, four hundred years ago. Understand the coffee growing culture, plantations and cultivation in this highland in the Western Ghats, and spend the night at a plantation homestay. Take the intense trail to Bandaje Arbi falls through the lush green hills of Chikmagalur soaking in the lap of nature with magnificent views all along. Explore the winding hill trails of Chikmagalur on a bike taking in the fresh air and unending vistas.
Stories Along The Cauvery
(Shivanasamudra, Talakkad and Somnathpura)
Cycle your way through the hinterlands south of Bengaluru, covering destinations such as the picturesque Shivanasamudra waterfalls, the historic Talakkad temples and a beautifully sculpted temple at Somnathpura. The tour will be a mix of drive and ride, with an overnight stay at a farmhouse. Apart from cycling through the countryside and open farmlands, the tour is also fueled with history, culture and interesting stories.
