In this full-day tour, you will experience Bengaluru’s graceful old-world charm through its quaint alleys and ancient temples and its vivacious modernity through the high streets and suburban transport. Let’s unveil the contrasting tiers of this tech and cultural hotspot of the country one layer at a time.   • A walk around The Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore. A private garden in an area of 40 acres by Hyder Ali, one of the most famous rulers of old Mysore in 1760
  • Soak in the heady aromas of coffee and savour melt in the mouth local breakfast at the legendary MTR
  • The makings of Bangalore through the vision of its Chieftain Kempegowda and his stories of the raged bull at the famed Bull Temple.
  • A tour of Tipu’s summer palace and the Bangalore fort
  • A visit to K. R. Market and Raja Market
  • A walk through the flower market with a heady scent of freshly picked flowers and vibrant shades of colors all around—a photographer’s delight.
  • A scrumptious lunch in the traditional way, on plantain leaf meal
  • The state library that stands in Pompeian red with books in every Indian language, a walk inside will delight any inquisitive book lover.
  • The Vidhana Soudha & “Attara Kacheri”, the seat of state legislature of Karnataka has architectural influences from the North, East, South and West of the country. The British built “Attara Kacheri” that dates back to 1884 and is built in Greco-Roman Style.
  • A Hindu cemetery to witness ancient practices of Black magic
  • A guided tour of the Bangalore palace

How It Goes

7:00 AM – 7:15 AM : Meet at The Hard rock cafe and drive to Lalbagh botanical gardens

7:30 AM – 7:45 AM : Walk around Lalbagh botanical gardens

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM : Breakfast at MTR, an old timers join to savour the local “thindi” or breakfast.

9:15 AM – 10:00 AM : Learn about the makings of Bangalore through the vision of its Chieftain Kempegowda and his stories of the raged bull at the famed Bull Temple

10:00 AM – 11:15 AM : Drive down and Visit Tipu Sultans Summer Palace. On this visit learn about the history of the palace, British occupation and the freedom struggle. Also learn about the establishment of the famous Mysore silk Industry

11:15 AM – 11:30 PM: Visit the Bangalore fort

11:45 PM – 1:00 PM: Visit KR Market, one of the largest flower markets in Asia and experience the colours and smells

1:15 PM – 1:30 PM: Quick stop at The Vidhana Soudha & “Attara Kacheri”, the seat of state legislature of Karnataka has architectural influences from the North, East, South and West of the country. The British built “Attara Kacheri” that dates back to 1884 and is built in Greco-Roman Style

1:45 PM – 2:45 PM: Traditional South Indian plantain leaf lunch and conversations over food. Learn to eat with your hands guided by your tour leader

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM : Visit an old, traditional Hindu Cemetery to witness ancient practices of Black magic

Real experience of Bangalore
Tej was an amazing tour guide. If you want a really authentic trip in Bangalore to see the local sights (not your usual tourist traps) then this is the trip for you. Excellent value including transportation to different places, food and lots of historical insights. Would highly recommend and only wish could do more.
