Good Morning Bangalore – City Bike Tour
Wake up with Bengaluru and explore the city’s residential quarters and old alleys. At this early hour the city bears its soul and is a peaceful symphony, with its residents prepping for a day of hustle. Ride with us through the city’s bylanes, old and quiet quarters, and witness traditions and old school routines of starting the day. Learn how the locals get their milk delivered, how they begin their morning routine visiting ancient temples, frequented by the locals and even stop by for some delicious Bengaluru breakfast that is raved about. Walk the old markets and try some local treats. This is the calm before the storm and its best experienced with a cheery “Good Morning, Bengaluru”
This trail introduces you to “Bendakaalooru” our city of ‘boiled beans’ before it became Bangalore and now Bengaluru. Perfect way to see Bangalore and get an authentic South-Indian experience
Can‘t recommend Unventured enough. Customer service was incredible starting with Priya organizing my day, and Guru was a perfect tour guide. He helped me understand the basics of Hinduism before attending the temples which really enhanced the meaning of each visit. He knew the city like the back of his hand and knew everything about every temple. Breakfast at MTR is a great way to start off the day, so come hungry. As long as you have plenty of water and comfortable clothes you should be fine for the day. I wore pants thinking they’d be necessary for the temples, but shorts would have been fine at all of them. I would just cover your shoulders.
Overall this is the best thing I’ve done in Bangalore in the 6 weeks I’ve been here, and will most likely do another Unventured tour at some point in the rest of my time here.
